The Urban Academy:
The Academy will provide specific training for churches in the 18 urban areas of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. Congregational leadership will gather for three sessions during the year and their will be an initial session with urban pastors. This Academy will be implemented in collaboration with the Urban Office of the General Board of Global Ministries. The requested funds will cover honorariums, site costs, meals, and other expenses related to the Academy. The Penisula Delaware clergy and lay leadership of urban churches will be invited to participate.
